The Root Cause of Over 100 Diseases

Exposing the Secret Killer

With all the benefits of our advanced medical system, we are failing horribly short in the area of true prevention by failing to recognize the basic causes of disease.  Our cells, the very building block of every organ of our bodies, are being starved of essential nutrition and poisoned by the accumulation of metabolic waste.  In addition, a high degree of stress contributes to cellular breakdown which becomes the core of almost every disease, by whatever diagnostic label we use.

Current research from university medical centers is clarifying the role of inflammation as an important cause of chronic disease.  Inflammation is usually associated with physical injury like a sprained ankle where the damaged area becomes red, warm, swollen, and painful.  This response is a short-term “inflammatory” process which represents the effort of the body to heal the damage and reduce the chance for further injury.  But chronic, long-term inflammation is becoming accepted as the underlying cause of cardiovascular disease, obesity and Type 2 diabetes among others.

Metabolic Syndrome or Insulin Resistance Syndrome is a pre-diabetic condition caused by a progressive cellular resistance to insulin, rise in blood sugar and the resulting toxic effects of excessive glucose which damages the cells leading to an inflammatory response.

This chronic cellular inflammation is driven by the Metabolic Syndrome, toxicity, stress and other factors.  This “inflammation response” to cellular injury is now being considered the root cause of between 100 and 150 chronic degenerative diseases, including obesity, cancer and Alzheimer’s.

The good news is that this condition is preventable and often reversible, once it is understood.  We can quench it before we are confronted with catastrophic disease. An anti-inflammatory diet, targeted nutritional supplements, and stress relief are some of the components of a comprehensive approach to ‘quenching the fire within’ and truly preventing disease states.

Try this Targeted Nutritional Supplement . . .

There’s a natural supplement you hear us talking about a lot here at Feel Good Buzz because it has been independently studied and proven to do some pretty incredible things for the body!  It’s effectiveness is actually clinically proven and patented, as a natural anti-inflammatory as well! (Our arthritis clients are usually the first to notice improved health when they take this supplement.)

This patent was granted to the makers of Protandim, LifeVantage, in September of 2009. (The patent states that Protandim lowers the amount of C-reactive protein in the body. C-reactive protein is widely considered by doctors and researchers as an indicator of the amount of inflammation present in the body.  Elevated base levels of C-reactive protein are considered risk factors for diabetes (high blood sugar), hypertension (high blood pressure), and cardiovascular (heart) disease.)

New Way to Correct Nutritional Deficiencies

ADAPTOGEN COMPLEX FOUND TO CORRECT NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCIES

© 2011 By Daniel F. Royal, DO, HMD, JD, USA

This is a must-read article about a little independent clinical study that an osteopathic doctor in Nevada did on correcting nutritional deficiencies: https://www.explorepub.com/current-issue-203/499-adaptogen-complex-found-to-correct-nutritional-deficiencies.html

According to the article’s abstract, “This article discusses a small clinical study conducted by Daniel F. Royal, DO, HMD, JD on 10 patients who took an adaptogen complex, known as “Protandim” for three to six months. Each patient took a pre and post SpectraCell MicroNutrient Test. An analysis of the results revealed that the patients’ nutritional deficiencies were found to correct as a result of taking the product. These unexpected findings suggest that the body may create nutritional deficiencies when antioxidant levels are inadequate. A call to expand the study for the purpose of further evaluating whether individual antioxidant levels can be optimized, after nutritional deficiencies have been corrected, is proposed.”

Protective Genes and Tumors

Turn on your protective genes and suppress tumors!  Here’s a new June, 2011 peer reviewed article about more of the wonders of Protandim from Louisiana State University . . .

About Protandim

Protandim is a clinically demonstrated supplement that provides substantial benefits for healthy aging. The patented Nrf2-activating therapy works in a very different way than conventional antioxidant supplements. Unlike vitamin- or carotenoid-containing products that have proven to be largely ineffective in reducing oxidative stress caused by free radicals, Protandim is an indirect antioxidant therapy, which stimulates the body’s production of its own powerful antioxidant enzymes and other stress-related gene products. Protandim works at a cellular level, triggering cells to naturally increase production of protective antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, and glutathione synthase, while decreasing production of pro-inflammatory signals.

A peer-reviewed human clinical study showed that after Protandim was taken for 30 consecutive days, important biochemical markers of aging were decreased by an average of 40%. The study also reported that these markers of aging were reduced in the subjects taking Protandim to the level of a typical 20 year old. Protandim is currently the subject of approximately 20 scientifc studies at universities and research facilities. The nature and stages of the studies vary.

Under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act, Protandim is considered a “dietary supplement”. Protandim is not intended to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, mitigation or cure of any disease including skin cancer. For more information about Protandim, visit www.cudiscovery.com.

Are you Suffering from this Type of Stress?

By admin on May 2, 2011 | Category: Uncategorized | Tags: | (0) Comments

Are you suffering from oxidative stress? Take this quick quiz.

Yes No
Are you carrying a few extra pounds you would like to lose?

Do you need to exercise more frequently?

Do you often forget to eat healthy foods?

Do you smoke or consume alcohol?

Do you spend significant time in the sun or environmentally polluted areas?

Are the fruits and vegetables you eat in the same color family (i.e. mostly green)?

Do you consume less than the recommended 9-13 servings of fruits and vegetables daily?

Do you suffer from high blood pressure or elevated cholesterol?

Do you generally feel run down or tired?

(If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, you have

above average levels of oxidative stress.)

What is Oxidative Stress?

One of the best ways to protect our bodies against oxidative stress is to consume a diet rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants contribute to a more robust immune response, promote healthier skin tone and texture, help support cardiovascular health, and maintain a healthy inflammation response*.
If our daily diet does not supply adequate amounts of antioxidants to neutralize free radicals, we run the risk of experiencing oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is the accumulation or overproduction of free radicals which cause damage to cells, tissues, and organs.

We clearly live in a toxic world. The air we breathe, the foods we eat, and the environment in which we function each day all expose us to potential free radical damage. Free radicals are destructive molecules that are created as a byproduct of normal cell function. These harmful free radicals accelerate our body’s natural aging process by breaking down cell structure—a process known as oxidation.
